Real Chemistry is seeking a Director, Client Media Solutions to join our growing team!

The Director, Client Media Solutions is a strategic leader responsible for developing audience-first media strategies across a portfolio of healthcare clients. This individual partners closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to deliver integrated planning, investment recommendations, and measurement approaches that support business objectives and drive performance.

The Director plays a key role in translating audience insights, market dynamics, and performance data into actionable media plans. They collaborate across Client Experience, Activation, Analytics, Creative, and Strategy teams to ensure alignment and consistency in planning. This role also contributes to strengthening planning processes, supporting team development, and advancing media capabilities across the organization.

This is a hybrid role based in any of our U.S. offices, including New York, Boston, Chicago, Carmel, or Lambertville, or working remotely within the U.S., depending on team and business needs.

What You'll Do

Media Strategy & Planning

  • Lead the development of media strategies and integrated plans across assigned healthcare clients, ensuring alignment to business goals and audience needs
  • Support annual planning, campaign launches, investment allocation, and channel strategy development
  • Translate audience insights, competitive landscape, and performance data into clear planning recommendations
  • Execute audience-first omnichannel strategies across HCP, patient, caregiver, and consumer audiences
  • Identify and recommend emerging media opportunities and innovations that enhance campaign effectiveness

Client Management

  • Serve as a day-to-day strategic partner to client stakeholders, supporting ongoing planning and optimization conversations
  • Present media plans, performance updates, and recommendations with clarity and confidence
  • Build strong client relationships through reliable delivery, proactive communication, and problem solving
  • Partner with account leadership to support organic growth opportunities within existing clients

Planning & Measurement

  • Apply established planning frameworks and best practices across assigned accounts
  • Support budget allocation, KPI development, and channel prioritization to drive results
  • Partner with Analytics to implement measurement plans and translate performance into actionable insights
  • Contribute to a test-and-learn approach that drives continuous optimization

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Manage and mentor Managers and Associate Directors, providing guidance on planning execution and career development
  • Provide day-to-day direction and oversight across projects and deliverables
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated delivery
  • Contribute to a positive, accountable, and high-performing team environment

Business Support

  • Support new business efforts through plan development, insights gathering, and pitch participation
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, process improvement, and media capability development

What You'll Bring
  • Minimum 8 years of media strategy and planning experience, with healthcare, pharma, biotech, or regulated industry experience preferred
  • 2-4 years of team management experience with a track record of developing talent
  • Strong foundation in omnichannel media planning, audience strategy, and integrated communications
  • Understanding of healthcare media landscapes across HCP and consumer audiences
  • Experience developing media plans tied to performance metrics and business outcomes
  • Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Comfortable presenting to clients and contributing to strategic discussions
  • Working knowledge of media measurement, attribution, and campaign performance analysis
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Pay Range: $100,000 - $145,000

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting.  Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location.
