How you'll make an impact

  • Own an assigned group of employee benefits accounts and help make sure each client gets steady, high quality support.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients and their day to day contacts, stay close to the renewal process, and work with the production team to help shape the right solution for each account.
  • Help secure existing business and look for new service and coverage opportunities that fit client needs.
  • As you manage complex accounts and keep an eye on service, margin, and revenue targets, you'll help create a smooth client experience and strengthen long term relationships.

About you

  • Required: Bachelor's degree with 5+ years client service and/or claims management experience -OR- High School degree/GED with 10+ years client service and/or claims management experience. 1+ years supervisory experience. Appropriate licensing as required.
  • Preferred: Previous insurance knowledge and experience managing client relationships. Solid financial acumen.
  • Behaviors: Ability to manage a portfolio of client accounts and keep work organized. Ability to explain renewal options and coverage choices in simple terms. Ability to spot opportunities to support retention and add new lines of coverage when they make sense for the client. Ability to balance service goals, revenue targets, and day to day account needs. Proficient in using technology as a tool to maximize productivity and quality. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortably engages others in consultative discussion. Effectively manages/balances multiple and sometimes competing priorities. Works in a self-directed manner.
