Client Management Specialist

Full‑time | Hybrid | Duluth, GA


Our client, a confidential organization supporting defense and aerospace supply chain programs, is seeking a Client Management Specialist to oversee client product portfolios, manage order processing, and coordinate cross‑functional operational activities. This role is essential in maintaining accuracy, compliance, and continuity across the full order lifecycle from quote to shipment to billing.


  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer accounts, ensuring timely communication and issue resolution.
  • Process and manage customer orders, quotes, projects, RMAs, and related system transactions.
  • Prepare and assemble RFP packages, supporting documentation, and customer portal data for Project Managers to complete quotations
  • Manage customer portal activities, including Exostar, TMS, P2P, and other customer-specific systems.
  • Coordinate shipping activities, freight arrangements, and customer-required shipping documentation for commercial and government contracts
  • Ensure customer purchase orders, supplier purchase orders, and project documentation are processed accurately and timely.
  • Monitor order status, delivery commitments, shipments, and billing readiness to support on-time customer deliveries and revenue recognition.
  • Collaborate with Project Management, Purchasing, Operations, Shipping, and Accounting to support customer requirements and operational objectives.
  • Maintain customer, project, part, and transactional data integrity within business systems and support ERP implementation activities.
  • Support customer collections efforts through invoice follow-up and coordination with internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain compliance with AS9100 requirements, customer contractual obligations, and company quality processes.
  • Support CMMC, government contracting, and aerospace industry requirements through proper documentation and controlled process adherence.



Requirements:

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and virtual collaboration tools (Teams, Webex, Zoom)
  • Experience with ERP systems — Epicor strongly preferred
  • Background in corporate sales support, customer service, supply chain, or order management
  • Strong communication, detail orientation, time management, and accountability
  • Ability to thrive in dynamic, evolving environments
  • Positive, solutions‑oriented mindset


Compensation:


  • The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $80,000, based on experience.
