Senior Client Manager, Construction – Job Description

Position Summary

Responsible for managing and servicing a portfolio of Property & Casualty clients by delivering tailored risk management and insurance solutions. This role serves as the primary client contact, providing strategic guidance, overseeing service delivery, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and growth. The position combines hands-on execution with client leadership responsibilities and plays a key role in maintaining strong carrier and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Leadership & Ownership

·         Own and manage a book of Property & Casualty business, ensuring high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.

·         Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing guidance on risk management and insurance solutions.

·         Lead client strategy, including coverage design, renewals, and retention initiatives.

Hands-On Execution & Delivery

·         Assess client risk exposures and design appropriate insurance programs.

·         Market accounts to carriers, compile underwriting information, and negotiate terms.

·         Support day-to-day servicing including endorsements, certificates, billing, and coverage inquiries.

Reporting, Quality & Operational Support

·         Ensure all client deliverables are accurate, timely, and compliant.

·         Prepare proposals, stewardship reports, and client communications.

·         Monitor service execution and resolve issues proactively.

Cross-Functional Partnership & Integration

·         Collaborate with Sales, Client Executives, and internal teams to achieve growth and retention goals.
