Job description

Giving Grace Client Intake Specialist VISTA
Grace Like Rain/Giving Grace was founded in 2016 and aids families in crisis and/or homeless. It offers a community-centric program focusing on 3 areas: affordable housing; reliable transportation; and quality and affordable childcare. It provides life skills training to enable clients to achieve long-term personal and financial stability. The Client Intake Specialist VISTA will serve as a leader in the Client Intake and Call area, provide ongoing and foundational training to volunteers and review existing procedures and protocols to ensure quality client services. These efforts will benefit families experiencing homelessness and poverty in Denton County, Texas. Additional information about Giving Grace can be found at www.givinggrace.org.
Member Duties : The Client Intake Specialist VISTA will serve as a leader in the Client Intake and Call area to provide ongoing program support as well as providing ongoing and foundational training to volunteers in the Receptionist area, so all procedures and protocols are being followed. Finally, the Client Intake Specialist VISTA will review existing procedures, suggest improvements, and implement protocols in the Client Intake and Call area. You will design referral forms for clients listing internal and external resources and programs as needed.
