Overview

This is a financial role and is a Hybrid role with 3 days a week in office in downtown Chicago.

Summary and Scope of Position

Financial business partner to client teams and other US agencies reporting to the Client Finance Manager. Responsible for client related finance matters including client reporting, client deliverable tracking, staff utilization and client profitability analysis and Ad Hoc reporting.

Responsibilities

Client Reporting

Partners with Client Finance Manager to create reports by Client covering key financial metrics.

Works closely with client teams to ensure consistent process supports reporting needs including staff utilization

Prepares weekly or monthly client reporting based from SAP financial data

Partners with billing, production and client teams to ensure client report accuracy

Works to resolve client reporting related questions and requests

Assist in Internal and External Audits

Collaborate with other team members within finance and/or Client teams to provide support for Ad Hoc projects as assigned

Client Profitability

Prepares client profitability reporting on a monthly basis

Works closely with Client Finance Manager and client teams to analyze issues and identify opportunities for improvement

Partners with client teams to implement profitability improvement strategies

Client Forecasts

Works closely with Client Finance Manager to prepare client profitability forecasts

Submits client profitability forecasts in HFM in accordance with Publicis Groupe deadlines

Contract Management

Ensures Agency is in compliance with current contractual guidelines

Other

Partners with client teams on consistent process implementation across all aspects of client related finance matters

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar field.

Relevant internship experience and/or 1+ years of work experience considered

Strong technical skills, especially Microsoft Excel (Vlookups, Pivot Tables, etc.)

Commutable to the downtown Chicago office

Effective communication skills

Excellent organizational, analytical and problem solving skills

Comfortable digging through large volumes of reporting for key operational findings

Ability to maintain and grow positive client relationships

Self-motivation to work independently

Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment

Compensation Range: $49,305 - $65,415 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting.
