Advisor Relationships
The Investment Product Wholesaler enables our Third-party Advisors, plan consultants and plan sponsors to provide objective and comprehensive advice across the full financial spectrum of TIAA solutions aligned with their clients' long-term interests. This job is responsible for investment product sales policy and strategy implementation for short-term results (1 year or less). This job requires an understanding of clients' unique financial objectives as identified through the client engagement model. Through one-on-one coaching with advisors, group presentations, field education, as well as collaborative interaction with clients, this job delivers comprehensive financial solutions.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Coaches and motivates advisors to exceed the forecasts for meeting the comprehensive needs of clients.
  • Educates advisors on distribution of comprehensive or total solutions within the client engagement model.
  • Adopts an integrated approach through the client engagement model.
  • Addresses advisor skill set depth and readiness to execute within an integrated advice model.
  • Drives adoption of integrated approach across the full financial spectrum of products aligned to meet the client's long-term interests.
  • Ensures consistent messaging of TIAA value prop and implementation of integrated solutions.
  • Identifies and prospects key distribution partnerships like Third-party Advisors, plan consultants and plan sponsors.
  • Organizes and hosts client/firm events where appropriate.
