You effectively demonstrate a remarkable ability at opening doors to new opportunities and setting successful engagements.

You will be starting cold, that means cold calling and reaching out to IT Decision Makers, Upper Management professionals, and C-Level Executives from a vast cross-section of industries and varying composition.  You will be forming new relationships and engaging prospects to expand our service offerings and capabilities to win new business.

Qualifications

Some of the qualities we like to see in a team member in this role;

  • Two (2) years or more experience in a business-to-business sales environment as an outside sales professional is preferred - but we are willing to help anyone with drive and ambition to bridge the gaps.
  • You demonstrate a technical, high level, aptitude or background in modern day technology foundations such as Cybersecurity, Compliance, Datacenter Operations, Virtualization, Network Infrastructure, and Cloud/SaaS.
  • You can effectively utilize a Client Relationship Management (CRM) system to plan and track sales activities in addition to understanding the importance of providing accurate sales forecasting and maintaining a realistic sales pipeline.
  • You demonstrate a proven ability to build lasting customer relationships
  • You can demonstrate successful experience in selling to C-Level Executives
  • You have experience successfully managing a varying schedule and meeting tight deadlines.
  • You have an ability to develop multiple tactical alternatives to drive strategic decision-making.
  • You possess exceptional written/verbal communications skills, presentation skills, organizational time management skills, and display strong customer-facing presentation skills.
  • You respond pro-actively and sensitively to the needs of prospects with a focus on achieving high levels of sales satisfaction.
  • Develops and maintains milestones and metrics to measure the progress of strategic plans, projects, and programs against organizational goals and objectives.
  • You follow-up on all sales to ensure retention, quality control, and development of new business.
  • You know how to prepare and formally present proposals to C-Level Executives, and IT Decision Makers.
  • You can establish trust, rapport and creditability with C-Level Executives across multiple industries and company composition.
  • You are skilled at identifying potential challenges in the sales cycle, before they occur, and adjusting course or providing alternative solutions, as necessary.
  • You possess solid listening skills with the ability to notice verbal and non-verbal signals displayed by prospective clients and adjust sales style and process to meet the needs of the prospective client.
  • You understand prospecting and how to convert opportunities to wins
  • You have a strong understanding of sales techniques and strategies necessary to sell competitively and present the company's value proposition to all types of audiences.  
  • You can identify new client and sales opportunities, and will generate the required cold prospecting activities of phone calls, contacts, prospect engagements, and proposals to ensure quotas and sales goals are achieved monthly. 
  • You know how to develop a pipeline of opportunities and targeted growth strategy to achieve annual new business objectives.
  • You are self-disciplined, diligent, and have GREAT work ethics. 
  • You have the ability to overcome objections and skillfully close sales.
