Coordinators are required to be in our office at 160 Bloor St East, Toronto, 4 days a week. Wefeel that this model promotes creativity, collaboration and professional development while still giving employees the flexibility of remote work.


YOU

  • Daily media/social monitoring for a variety of clients - owned, earned, paid
  • Handling all aspects of media/influencer mailers
  • Coordinating fact checks and sample requests
  • Developing and updating client reports and media/ influencer lists
  • Writing: research reports, wrap reports and MRP/measurement reports, social copy and content calendars, proofreading and editing
  • Research skills - competitive intelligence, new business
  • Assisting with special event logistics including sourcing and liaising with vendors, onsite event
    support
  • Working with clients on consumer interactions and media requests
  • Working with the influencer team on various campaigns
  • Participating in
    brainstorms, agency staff meetings and any agency training taking place
  • Administrative - coordination of meetings, meeting notes, supplier liaison, UPS/FedEX, internal and external marketing

ASK

  • Post-graduate diploma in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Marketing, Advertising or related discipline - PR agency experience is a must
  • Strong tech skills - PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Cision, Meltwater, MRP and social media monitoring tools (e.g. Sprout Social). We use Monday.com as our program management tool
  • Excellent time management skills, strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task is a must
  • Enthusiastic team player with a positive, can-do attitude demonstrating initiative and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Experience with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and design software such as Adobe Suite, Canva and Capcut is a strong asset


COMPENSATION

APEX PR is committed to offering competitive pay for the role and experience that the candidate brings.The salary range for this role is $45,000to $55,000, depending on experience.


This is a full time position at 40 hours a week but may also require after office hours or weekend attendance due to events or client initiatives.
