Join our partner firm at Miller Legg as a Business Development and Marketing Coordinator, where you'll play a key role in supporting business growth and building strong client relationships. In this highly organized and collaborative role, you'll help identify and pursue public and private sector opportunities by preparing proposals, presentations, and marketing materials. You'll also partner closely with the Company President by coordinating schedules, travel, fee proposals, and other key business activities while assisting with day-to-day office operations. Essential Responsibilities: 

  • Support business development efforts by identifying, tracking, and pursuing public and private sector project opportunities.
  • Prepare, edit, format, and proofread high-quality proposals, qualifications packages, presentations, and other marketing materials.
  • Create and maintain marketing collateral, including project sheets, resumes, award submissions, social media content, and public relations materials.
  • Coordinate the Company President's calendar, travel arrangements, itineraries, fee proposals, and other administrative priorities.
  • Maintain and update project information, resumes, and marketing assets within the Unanet CRM database.
  • Track project opportunities, proposal activity, and business development backlog to support strategic planning.
  • Assist with day-to-day office administration and operational support as needed.
  • Schedule and coordinate monthly Lunch & Learn programs with industry vendors.
  • Attend public solicitation meetings, client meetings, networking events, and professional organizations to support business development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with technical staff and leadership to gather project information and develop compelling marketing content.
  • Help maintain the company's professional brand by ensuring all marketing materials are accurate, visually appealing, and consistent with corporate standards.

Qualifications: 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of marketing, business development, executive administrative, or proposal coordination experience, preferably within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (A/E/C) industry.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Advanced experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
  • Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform; Unanet CRM experience is preferred.
  • Experience with website content management and social media platforms is a plus.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and confidential information in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with executives, clients, industry partners, and internal teams.
  • Ability to represent the company with professionalism at meetings, presentations, conferences, and networking events.
  • Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
