As a member of our new business team, the Partnership Development Coordinator supports and enhances internal sales processes while guiding prospective clients through their journey from lead to client conversion. This role requires sharp critical thinking skills to evaluate opportunities, identify client needs, and ensure that each potential partnership aligns with our agencyโ€™s objectives and values. By leveraging analytical and problem-solving abilities, the Partnership Development Coordinator ensures high-quality leads are nurtured and converted efficiently. As one of the first points of contact, this individual should embody the TJA experience with charisma, reliability, and professionalism.


Responsibilities:

  • Deliver weekly status report to relevant internal team members regarding business development progress
  • Enter and maintain all sales opportunities in CRM and update regularly to stay up-to-date with where they fall in the conversion funnel
  • Actively monitor and prioritize leads based on business alignment, client readiness, and timeline considerations
  • Respond thoughtfully to new business leads, asking targeted questions to assess alignment with TJAโ€™s expertise and services
  • Coordinate meetings and respond to prospective client inquiries via phone and email communication
  • Prepare and customize proposals, letters of intent, and presentations that align with each prospect's specific business objectives
  • Apply feedback critically to refine proposals and LOIs, ensuring alignment with leadership direction and client expectations
  • Attend discovery meetings to actively engage and identify key insights, translating them into actionable internal briefs for delivery teams
  • Partner with project managers to craft timelines and accurate business proposals based on nuanced client needs.
  • Proactively research RFP opportunities that align with agency strengths, evaluating their fit and potential for impact.
  • Synthesize RFP submission requirements, facilitating discussions with team members to develop winning proposals
  • Coordinate schedules and timelines for RFP responses, ensuring contributions align with overarching objectives
  • Prepare presentations for client meetings, customized to the opportunity
  • Translate notes from meetings into internal download briefs for the delivery teams
  • Maintain the library of samples for new business use
  • Attend internal meetings for new client kickoffs to support seamless transition to delivery teams
  • Continuously improve and maintain the library of new business assets, recommending enhancements that reflect industry trends.
  • Proactively identify inefficiencies in sales processes and suggest improvements to optimize conversion outcomes.
  • Build strong rapport with prospective clients, demonstrating an understanding of their unique challenges and goals.
  • Represent TJA at client events and networking opportunities, applying critical thinking to identify meaningful connections and opportunities
  • Coordinate with CEO for RFP reviews and weekly status meetings
  • Contribute to TJAโ€™s marketing initiatives on an assigned basis
  • Attend potential new client events and happy hours as needed
