Job Description
  • Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating.

  • Medication reminders and assist clients with ambulation and transfers.

  • Assist with ADL'S and personal hygiene, meal prep, assist with feedings, help with exercises and encourage mobility as tolerated by our client.

  • Assist client with shopping or accompany them to area stores.

  • Perform housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidents to their supervisor.

  • Offer activities to maintain independence. 

Qualifications
  • CNA license - current or lapsed accepted.
  • Enjoys working in a one-on-one client setting, eager to improve our clients quality of life.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties including transfers.
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance with your name on the card, valid email working cell phone, and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner towards our clients and their family members.
  • Must be able to work different shifts, including days, nights, PRN, holidays and/or weekends
  • Prior experience in a healthcare, or home care environment (minimum of 3 years experience)
  • Must follow all health and safety standards
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Take pride in providing high quality care in order to improve quality of life.
