Job description

Summary: Help clients "shop" for furniture and household goods that fit their needs and style. They help clients solve space and logistical constraints

Responsibilities:

  • Establish a polite and respectful relationship with the clients.
  • Be familiar with showroom areas.
  • Take the client through the entire showroom.
  • Understand and be able to explain item limits in a polite and respectful manner.
  • Neatly and accurately complete Distribution Form.
  • Pack small items neatly and securely.
  • Remind clients that it is their responsibility to secure items for safe transport.
  • Provide twine if necessary.
  • Keep all client and donor information confidential.

Qualifications:

  • Attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Customer service skills
  • Spanish, Portuguese, and French/Haitian Creole speakers encouraged to apply

Availability:

  • Monday-Saturday
  • Saturday PM especially needed

2 shifts available:

  • Monday through Saturday 8:45 AM to 12:00 PM
  • Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays: 12:45 PM to 4:00 PM
