The Client Activation Specialist is responsible for onboarding new clients, ensuring seamless product setup, and driving initial user engagement. He/She bridges the gap between sales and long-term customer success by troubleshooting issues, providing training, and coordinating deliverables. The Client Activation Specialist acts as the client's trusted advisor providing support, guidance, and technical expertise to leverage the organization's products or services to achieve business objectives. He/She provides customer training and onboarding to facilitate smooth product adoption and build a strong customer relationship foundation.
The Client Activation Specialist proactively identifies customer needs and challenges and utilizes extensive product knowledge and problem-solving skills to develop solutions and resolve concerns. He/She coordinates with internal teams to develop resources, solutions, and tools to improve customer experience, engagement, and outcomes while delivering feedback and advocating for solutions, and product enhancements to meet the needs of customers and ensure satisfaction and retention.
Job Responsibilities
 
  • Customer Onboarding: Guiding new clients through account setup, software installation, or service provisioning from day one.
  • Product Training and Adoption: Educating clients on key features to maximize their return on investment and ensure active usage.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working alongside Sales, Product, and Technical Support teams to resolve bugs, streamline workflows, and optimize the user experience.
  • Milestone Tracking: Monitoring onboarding completion rates, addressing client pain points, and documenting progress within CRM software. 

Job Qualifications
 
  • 7+ years of customer success, client onboarding, or client activation experience is required.
  • Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills to clearly convey technical instructions and build a welcoming initial experience.
  • Must possess strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple client accounts at various stages of implementation.
  • Must have a proactive mindset to quickly diagnose and solve technical or process-related roadblocks.
  • Must have a deep understanding of the company's offerings to accurately guide clients and anticipate their needs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.

Compensation: Salary + Competitive Commission Structure, Performance-Based Bonus, Comprehensive Benefits Package. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the range listed above.
