POSITION PURPOSE:


The Client Account Manager serves as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned customer accounts and is responsible for managing customer orders from receipt through shipment.

This role requires strong ownership, accountability, organization, and follow-through. The successful candidate will proactively communicate with customers, coordinate with internal departments, resolve issues, monitor open orders, and ensure customer requirements are met.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, managing multiple priorities, solving problems, and taking responsibility for their work. 


Full-Time, M-F

Wage Range: $21.50 - $24 Hourly ($45-$50k)


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned customer accounts.
  • Review and process customer purchase orders.
  • Verify pricing, quantities, specifications, and delivery requirements.
  • Manage orders from receipt through shipment.
  • Monitor open orders and proactively address potential issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide customers with timely status updates and delivery information.
  • Coordinate with Scheduling, Operations, Quality, Engineering, Shipping, and Purchasing.
  • Follow-up on internal commitments and ensure customer needs are addressed.
  • Manage routine customer concerns and identify issues requiring escalation.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and account information.
  • Build strong customer relationships through professionalism and responsiveness.
  • Support continuous improvement.

REQUIREMENTS:


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.

  • 2+ years of customer service, account management, inside sales, order management, or related experience.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
  • Manufacturing or industrial business experience preferred. 
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds safely.
  • Regularly required to stand, sit, stoop, crouch and kneel.
  • Required to use hands to handle, touch and feel office equipment and computers.
  • Vision requirements include (corrective or non) close range, distance, color, depth, and focus.
  • Comply with all company, safety and quality policies and procedures.

Systems & Software - experience with the following is preferred:

  • ERP systems (Epicor preferred)
