We bring a broad range of products and solutions, tailoring our advice to meet clients' needs.The Client Account Administrator performs a variety of administrative and client service tasks to facilitate a positive and productive relationship between clients and their financial service team. The Client Account Administrator is an expert communicator and collaborator.Essential Functions:Understands the client's financial objectives and how FLP fits into their overall investment strategyLiaises between internal and external teams to support client and family needs during key life planning inflection pointsProvides white-glove service to clients by leading with compassion and empathy during major life eventsServes as a project manager to coordinate service across investment teams, planning teams, and custodiansDirects strong client relationships by proactively anticipating needs, escalating urgent issues appropriately, and coordinating with internal partners to complete work accurately and on time.Becoming comfortable and proficient in using our different applications (Outlook, Salesforce, Orion, and custodial platforms Schwab and Fidelity) to obtain account information and complete/coordinate all aspects of client service and account maintenance requestsOpens and closes client accounts; ensures related paperwork is completed correctly and timelyManage and execute client cash flows, asset transfers, and account maintenanceCompletes complex forms, leverages DocuSign to collect signatures, and utilizes custodian-specific tools to upload appropriate forms to custodianAccurately moves funds between accounts, maintains clear documentationResponds promptly to clients' needs, requests, and miscellaneous inquiries; completes client requestsRegularly communicates and coordinates with the client's team (legal professionals, tax professionals, etc.)Leverages other custodian specific tools to manage client accountsCoordinates satisfaction of annual RMD for affected clientsParticipates in upkeep & implementation of SalesforcePrepares for client meetings, completes ad hoc client reporting Provide coverage and additional support to general administrative tasks and marketing efforts (scanning, lobby/phone coverage, preparing print materials, managing outbound mailings)Integrates and onboards new processes where the department is a stakeholderEssential Knowledge, Skills & Experience:Completion of a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or another related field; or equivalent years of work experience One or more years of related experience preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.) and other software used to conduct business operations (Salesforce, DocuSign, etc.)Maintain a positive, solutions focused attitudeBe intellectually curious, respectful, and kind throughout all dimensions of the workplaceAbility to use good judgement and always keep client information confidentialDeliver consistent excellent customer service to internal and external customers, colleagues and managementCommunication SkillsUses appropriate communication toolsEffectively expresses ideas & concernsCommunicates effectively with prospects, clients, and colleaguesMaintains effective working relationshipsContributes to building positive environmentF.L.Putnam is an equal opportunity employer.
