The Laboratory Director is ultimately accountable for the accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of patient test results, as well as for implementing quality assurance and quality control programs. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity and safety of laboratory operations in healthcare settings.

What are some common challenges faced by a CLIA laboratory director and how can they be managed?

A CLIA Laboratory Director often encounters challenges such as maintaining compliance with ever-evolving regulatory standards, ensuring staff competency, and overseeing quality assurance processes.
