Job description

Morlen Health is seeking a is seeking an AP/CP board-certified Pathologist to join a highly collaborative team of clinicians and physicians. You will be joining to a group of 17 Pathologists, 6 PAs and 4 PhDs in a practice that is high volume and fast paced.
Service Responsibilities:

  • Signing out surgical and cytologic (gyn and non-gyn) specimens.
  • Interpreting intraoperative frozen sections, rapid onsite cytology evaluations, and covering call.
  • Presenting at tumor boards and representing the laboratory on multi-disciplinary task forces.
  • Sharing group lab administrative responsibilities (such as serving as CLIA director of various lab sites, etc).
Qualifications and Expectations:
  • Must be AP/CP board-certified.
  • Interest and/or expertise in GI or gynecologic pathology is strongly preferred.
  • You will be expected to cover services in two hospitals and one regional lab.
  • Stay current and possess high diagnostic integrity in surgical pathology with an understanding of applicable molecular techniques.
  • Must work well with others and be able to function collaboratively as part of a team

Salary range: $375,570- $458,010 (Prorated to 0.9FTE)
Plus additional Lifestyle $30,600 annual bonus
