Job Description:
Job Summary
Parking Operations is looking for indviduals available for summer and into fall employment for our open Student Clerk position. The Student Clerk position is a part time position assisting individuals with campus parking needs. .
This position entails:
  • Provide professional customer service answering parking questions and/or assisting individuals via phone calls, emails and/or in person.
  • Prepare permit attachments to be sent to individuals via interoffice mail or US Postal Service.
  • Input information stated on issued Purdue Police Department citations in Flex T2, the parking software program.
  • Upload Purdue Police citation images into the specific corresponding citation account.
  • Review submitted information for Student Garage, C or Airport C permit for approval and make specific permit available for individual to purchase.
  • Sell contractor parking permits depending on the job on campus.
  • File any paperwork in specific locations to the filing cabinet.
  • Be available to work after office hours and/or weekends during peak permit season when needed.
  • Work cooperatively and treat supervisors and team members with respect.
  • Assist/complete projects given by any full-time staff member.
