About the Team

We are a global operations team dedicated to delivering industry-leading cleared derivative services to premier investment banks and financial institutions. Our core services include:

  • Trade clearance and allocation

  • Reconciliation processes

  • Trade break resolution

  • Exchange funding and client margining

  • Brokerage management

  • Static data oversight and trade lifecycle management

What You'll Be Doing

As a Derivatives Operations Representative, you play a key role in enhancing the quality and efficiency of our daily operations, strengthening our control environment, and elevating the client experience. We foster a culture that embraces continuous improvement and encourages a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

  • Collaborate with derivative exchanges, clearing brokers, and FIS teams to support the full trade lifecycle - from post-trade execution to final settlement. This often includes the monitoring of notices, trades, assignments, deliveries, interest, exchanges, and other lifecycle events.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients.

  • Partner with client oversight teams, control groups, trading desks, and client service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Execute contractual obligations in alignment with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Risk & Control Frameworks, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  • May coordinate and communicate technical issues with client services, trade management, IT, business change, and external clients to ensure trade flows are strategically robust in accordance with exchange regulations.

  • May oversee a functional group in day-to-day activities and responsibilities as well as assist in planning and strategy, representing FIS' Capital Markets Segment to internal and external audiences.

  • May navigate complex and relevant challenges within the derivatives trading, middle-office, and post-trade spaces, by continuously analyzing and seeking solutions for clients' dynamic needs.

What You Bring

  • Flexibility to work 12pm-8pm (EST) up to 50% of the time.

  • Ability to process and clear trades, perform reconciliations, and manage trade allocations.

  • Strong troubleshooting, critical thinking, customer service, and communication skills with proven ability to support and build client relationships.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

  • Capable of working effectively in a high-pressure, fast paced environment.

  • Effective team player with team-oriented mindset around success and eagerness to learn and grow within a back-office environment focused on globally traded futures.

Added Bonus If You Have

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in business management, finance, related field or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.

  • Understanding of cleared derivative products and futures trading operations, with experience around regulatory requirements, client margining, and trade allocations.

  • Working knowledge of FIS and finance industry standard applications (e.g. GMI, FIS CD, ClearVision).

The pay range for this full-time position is $23.43 - $46.03 per hourand reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
