SUMMARY

The Data Center Operations Manager I role oversees the day-to-day cleaning operations and quality programs of specific customer account or data center locations. The role is responsible for managing, defining, coordinating and facilitating projects and ensuring the success of the assigned accounts and regional operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

  • Supervise, plan and coordinate customer data center site-wide cleaning operations.
  • Continually monitor cleaning operations to ensure all activities are completed promptly and correctly.
  • Responsible for staff development in areas such as training, technical skills, safety, and performance management.
  • Manage payroll and operational budgets within designated variance.
  • Plan, organize and lead projects to improve efficiency and productivity and implement best practices in business management.
  • Identify and resolve issues.
  • Manage operations and personnel to an accident/safety incident-free workplace.
  • Identify the technical, procedural and equipment issues that hinder cleaning performance. Inform support personnel and Director of Operations as needed.
  • Follow customer standard operating procedures and identified best-known methods as applicable.
  • Ensure that there is a minimum inventory level of standard stock materials.
  • Represent the company at customer meetings
  • Ensures accurate time/attendance recording and labor law compliance
  • All other duties as assigned by manager.
  • Prior experience managing an hourly labor force
  • 1 -3 years direct business operations experience
  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrates excellent documentation skills, and adhere to all regulations
  • Demonstrates excellent problem solving/issue resolution skills
  • Ability to stay calm and rational under pressure
  • Adheres to all policy and conduct standards and embraces the culture of Controlled Contamination Services
  • Must have a high level of attention to detail and excellent time management skills
  • Ability to read, write, and speak in Englishto successfully accomplish the essential duties of this job.
  • Abilityto work on a computer.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years (5+ years in lieu of bachelor's degree) of experience in facilities, production, manufacturing, janitorial, cleaning, hospitality, account management or related field.
