Job description

Summary

The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily cleaning operations within assigned facilities. This position ensures that all cleaning standards, safety protocols, and customer expectations are consistently met. The Supervisor will manage staff performance, coordinate schedules, and maintain quality control while also supporting staffing needs, reporting, and inventory management.

The role requires flexibility, including on-call availability and the ability to adjust schedules as needed to effectively support operations.


Schedule

  • Monday-Friday: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM
  • Must be available on-call to respond to operational needs, emergencies, or staff issues
  • Must be flexible and willing to adjust schedule when necessary to supervise and support the team

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of cleaning staff to ensure all duties are completed efficiently and according to company standards
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure adherence to Scope of Work and customer expectations
  • Encourage, redirect, correct, and document employee performance as appropriate
  • Coordinate coverage for absences and adjust schedules as needed
  • Maintain a safe work environment and report hazards, incidents, or injuries immediately
  • Monitor building security and ensure compliance with site-specific safety protocols
  • Conduct employee interviews, hiring, and onboarding
  • Train and develop employees to maintain high performance standards
  • Oversee and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports
  • Ensure all assignments and special projects are completed properly
  • Communicate effectively with management, customers, and team members
  • Act as a point of contact for operational issues during shift and while on-call
  • Oversee and follow up on weekend team performance to ensure consistency and quality standards are met

Requirements

  • Must pass a background check and drug screening
  • Must be able to reliably commute
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Must be dependable with a strong work ethic
  • Previous cleaning or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Confirmation of eligibility to work in the United States.
