Summary
Receiving Material Handler for Sanmina is a hybrid of physical material handling and digital inventory management, requiring a candidate who is as comfortable on a forklift as they are in an ERP system.
Key Responsibilities

  • Physical Handling: Safely operate forklifts (Sit-down/Reach) to unload trailers and move palletized goods and delicate SMT component reels.
  • ERP Transactions: Execute all receipts, sub-inventory transfers, and material moves within Oracle WMS.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate dock logs and inventory reports using Microsoft Excel (data entry, filters, and basic formulas).
  • EMS Compliance: Handle moisture-sensitive (MSL) and static-sensitive (ESD) components according to industry standards.
  • Systemic Putaway: Use RF scanners to ensure materials are binned correctly to support high-speed production lines.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • Experience: 2+ years in a warehouse environment, preferably in Electronics/EMS.
  • Technical Skills: * Proficiency in Oracle WMS (or similar Tier-1 ERP).
  • Intermediate Excel/Spreadsheet skills for tracking and reconciliation.
  • Certifications: Valid Forklift Operator Certification.
  • Precision: High attention to detail for matching alphanumeric part numbers and managing Units of Measure.
  • Physical: Ability to lift up to 30lbs and work in an ESD-protected environment.
