Pool Filter Clean Technician

Location: Southlake, TX
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $17.00 โ€“ $21.00 per hour (Flat Rate, DOE)

Overview

Claffey Pools is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Pool Filter Clean Technician to join our Service & Maintenance team. This role is responsible for maintaining the performance and cleanliness of pool filtration systems to ensure optimal water quality and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in hands-on work, and is committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine pool filter cleanings (cartridge, DE, and sand filters)
  • Disassemble, clean, and reassemble filtration systems safely and efficiently
  • Inspect equipment for wear and potential issues; report findings to management
  • Ensure proper chemical balance after filter cleanings when applicable
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with homeowners
  • Follow all company safety protocols and procedures
  • Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in good working condition
  • Assist with additional service tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Previous pool service or mechanical experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor
