Position: Analyst โ€“ Clean Technology Financial Advisory โ€“ San Francisco

Moelis Analysts are expected to assume significant levels of responsibility requiring intellectual curiosity, motivation and analytical aptitude.

Responsibilities
  • Financial analysis and modeling.
  • Company and industry research.
  • Preparing client presentations and interacting with senior bankers and clients.
  • Supporting senior managers in origination activities, including preparing historical and projected financial statements.
  • Providing analysis of financial implications of mergers and acquisitions.
  • Conducting public and private valuation analysis for major corporations.
  • Gathering data, analyzing information and preparing materials for execution activities.
  • Managing standard processes such as preparing deal documentation.
  • Building and applying valuation models based on financial research and analysis, including comparable company analysis, discounted cash flow analysis, and comparable acquisitions analysis.
  • Preparing analytical materials to support credit, compliance, engagement committee and balance sheet approvals.
  • Conducting corporate operations reviews, portfolio analytic reviews, and preparing risk/return valuations.
  • Gathering and processing market share data and shareholder and investor profiles.
