Job Description
Major building materials and engineering design company is in search of a Sr. Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair PLC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components in an Industrial/Manufacturing environment.
• Thorough knowledge of Equipment Safety Procedure such as lock out and tag out, and proper usage of PPE is important.
• Minimum of 3 years in troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLCs, Hydraulics, Pneumatics and Electrical Control Systems in an Industrial/Manufacturing environment is required.
• Capability of programming and configuring PLC and Electrical Control Systems is a must.
• Ability to maintain, complete and correct schematics, bills of material and PLC programs.
• Experience in new equipment installation consisting of overhead crane operation to unload equipment, leveling, line up and final power hook ups is a must.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2007 is a plus.
• Flexibility to travel up to 60 percent of the year with weekend work as a standard part of schedule is a required.
Qualifications
Candidate Must Have:
5+ to 7 years of experience
Minimum Education - High School or Equivalent
Willingness to Travel - Occasionally
Travel is an essential function of the position
Must qualify for AMEX credit card
