Job description

The Clean Up position helps maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant, bathrooms, and kitchen.

Duties:

· Clean up spills, including drinks, broken glass, and bio-hazardous waste.

· Maintain bathrooms.

· Vacuum floors.

· Clean lights, railings, and brass.

· Empty refuse containers.

· Wipe down counters, machines, and tables.

· Use all cleaning chemicals within the department.

· Clean kitchen areas, ware washing, equipment washing, and heavy-duty mat washing.

· Follow procedures and controls for the kitchens, including safeguards against damage, pilferage, breakage, and spoilage.

· Ensure all safety and sanitation standards are followed and report unsafe or unsanitary conditions to management.

Qualifications:

· Must be at least eighteen years of age

· Prior experience is preferred

· High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred

· Must be able to lift twenty pounds on a regular basis
