We're looking for passionate, reliable substitute teachers to help backfill our elementary and junior high classrooms as we gear up for an exciting new school year! Whether you're an experienced educator or gaining classroom experience on your path to a teaching career, this is a great opportunity to make a difference while staying flexible.
As an on-call substitute, you'll step in when needed to keep learning on track, provide support, and bring stability to our students' day. Classroom experience is required, and a positive, can-do attitude is a must!
Heights Christian Schools (HCS) is a 501• 3 ministry that owns and operates seven Christian schools in Southern California. The primary objective of our schools is to bring about the total education of the student spiritually, academically, morally, mentally, socially, and physically.
All employees are first and foremost ministers of the gospel, called of God to lead others to Christ, and to use their gifts, talents and abilities for God's glory (Colossians 1:18, John 1:17, Colossians 3:17, I John 3:3, 7). This person shall be spiritually mature and shall reflect the purpose of the school, which is to honor Christ at all times.
