Beer Capitol Distributing in Sussex, Wi is now hiring a Merchandiser. The team members of Beer Capitol Distributing are committed, innovative leaders of the beverage industry through marketing, selling, distributing, merchandising, and servicing quality products to our valued customers. This position is responsible for providing in-store by merchandising and stocking our products at customer accounts. Merchandising includes stocking shelves, building displays, installing POS as well as keeping POS presentable, rotating stock, and ensuring products are presented for consumer purchase.


Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Merchandise, stock and rotate product at each account
  • Inventory and reorganize back stocks, refill cold boxes, shelves, displays and dust product as needed
  • Ability to build displays, fix shelving, hang signage
Requirements:

Skills and Abilities include:

  • Prior customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent inter-personal skills; friendly, personable, and approachable
  • Goal oriented, focused, and assertive
  • A valid driver's license, reliable transportation and proof of insurance is required


Physical Requirements include:

  • Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 40 pounds on a regular basis
  • Walk and stand for long periods of time; bending, twisting, squatting, lifting
  • Climbing up and down ladders
