Join a leader in eye health and vision care
Established in 2007 and expanded in 2021, Chevy Chase Eye Design is a blend of personalized primary eye care and advanced medical services in a professional, yet spa-like setting. The practice offers comprehensive primary and medical eye care, advanced contact lens fittings, cutting-edge dry eye evaluation and management, and glaucoma diagnosis and treatment. They provide support for cataract care through collaborations with local retinal surgeons, oculoplastic and orbital specialists, and neuro-ophthalmologists.
To enhance clinical capabilities, Chevy Chase Eye Design invests in state-of-the-art technology, efficient systems, and staff development. Patients appreciate the office's inviting atmosphere, expert opticians, and half-hour appointments.
Enhancing vision health
As an Optometrist, you'll play a key role in delivering vision health by working in a recently expanded, state-of-the-art facility with six exam lanes, four of them newly equipped. They also have advanced diagnostic technologies such as ZEISS Cirrus 5000 OCT, ZEISS Clarus ultra-widefield imaging, Humphrey Visual Fields with Guided Progression Analysis, and ZEISS FORUM integration.
Your responsibilities will include conducting routine and medical eye exams, delivering diagnosis and management of ocular conditions, and maintaining documentation. You will collaborate with in-suite ophthalmologic services and external specialists to ensure continuity of care through follow-up and patient education. Starting as a part-time role with the possibility of transitioning to full-time as your patient base grows, you will contribute to Chevy Chase Eye Design's reputation as a leader in eye care.
Approach to Care and Experience
You have a strong background in retinal diagnostics and clinical decision-making, and are experienced in fitting many types of contact lenses, including advanced designs. With solid training in both comprehensive and medical optometry and full EHR knowledge, you care for patients of all ages and visual needs.
