Pay Rate: $22.00/hour (Contract till January 2027, possible extension) Shift: 1st - Hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days at home)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Insurance Claims Associate to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring group, benefits, and eligibility information is accurately and timely loaded into applicable systems. You will guarantee that all group/member information is available by the contract effective date to support our claims and customer service teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load groups, benefits, and eligibility data into systems with precision and efficiency.
  • Ensure group/member information is available prior to the contract effective date.
  • Draft account-specific documents and manage renewal of major and national accounts, using standardized templates as a base.
  • Resolve escalated issues in a timely manner, interacting with Underwriting, Products, Billing, Claims, and Integration Teams to mediate risk.
  • Serve as a liaison within operational areas, assisting with projects, initiatives, and process reviews.
  • Partner with customer-facing teams, including Implementation, Operations, and Sales, to deliver consultative and communicative support.
  • Remain task- and deadline-driven based on coverage effective dates, while maintaining high attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in benefits administration or group health operations preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
  • Highly detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant systems and Microsoft Office suite.
