## Civil Superintendent - Primoris Energy Services - Civil GroupApplylocations: Texastime type: Full timeposted on: Posted 2 Days Agojob requisition id: JR101106**Job Overview:**Job Summary:\*\* The Civil Superintendent is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and execution of civil construction projects within Primoris Energy Services - Civil Group, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Job Responsibilities:\*\* \* Manage and oversee all aspects of civil construction projects, including earthwork, grading, concrete pouring, foundation work, and underground utilities. \* Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring critical milestones are met and proactively addressing potential delays. \* Supervise and direct field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors, fostering a productive and safe work environment. \* Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, company policies, and quality control standards. \* Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions. \* Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents to ensure accurate project execution. \* Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, clients, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status. \* Manage project resources, including equipment, materials, and labor, to optimize efficiency and control costs. \* Participate in project meetings, providing input on constructability, scheduling, and problem-solving. \* Prepare daily reports, progress reports, and other required documentation. \* Implement and enforce environmental protection measures on site. \* Assist in the resolution of design conflicts and field issues. \* Mentor and train junior staff. Job Qualifications:\*\* \* Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in civil construction supervision, preferably within the energy or heavy industrial sector. \* Proven track record of successfully delivering complex civil projects on time and within budget. \* Strong understanding of civil construction methods, materials, and equipment. \* Expertise in interpreting blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings. \* Thorough knowledge of safety regulations and best practices, with OSHA 30 certification preferred. \* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. \* Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. \* Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and Microsoft Office Suite. \* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. \* Ability to travel to various project sites as required. \* Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. \* High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is highly preferred.**Company Overview:**Primoris Energy Services is a major direct-hire contractor in the U.S. delivering self-performed turnkey industrial construction and EPC services.
