Compensation:

$80,000 - $100,000 yearly


Responsibilities:

Our โ€œResponsible Attorneysโ€ manage a caseload based on jurisdiction. You will have primary responsibility for everything that happens in the cases assigned to you, including:


  • Conducting evidentiary hearings, depositions, and trials
  • Meeting with clients to discuss discovery and negotiate pleas
  • Communicating with prosecutors, judges, and court representatives
  • Participating in docket calls in state and municipal courts
  • Performing legal investigations and preparing legal documents
  • Handling consultations with leads and assisting in signing them up
  • Attending court proceedings, performing legal analysis, and providing legal advice
  • Collaborating with clients and team members to resolve cases efficiently
  • Counseling clients on their legal options and negotiating on their behalf
  • Managing case files and ensuring information is accurate, up to date, and accessible to attorneys, paralegals, and staff


You will report to our Supervising Attorney and work closely with our Client Care Team to ensure clients are fully informed about the status of their cases.


Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Active Missouri law license (required)
  • Strong typing, computer, and technology skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and database software
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills
  • Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
  • Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrates flexibility, initiative, sound judgment, and discretion
  • Growth mindset with a willingness to embrace and utilize technology
