CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Civil Engineering Designer to join our Aviation Team in Evansville, IN, where you'll play a pivotal role in delivering specialized designs for airports of all sizes. This is your opportunity to guide junior designers, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to projects that promote sustainability.

What You'll Do:
    Lead the research, preparation, and creation of various types of contract or construction drawings using industry software such as REVIT, AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, etc.
  • Provide guidance to junior and mid-level designers, ensuring quality and consistency across all project work
  • Collaborate with design teams on multiple projects to meet client, contractual, and company requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Participate in project review meetings, assist in developing technical reports, material costs, and construction estimates
  • Prepare project "As-Builts" documentation and support field assignments as needed
What You Bring:
  • Associate's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Engineering Science, or related technical field required
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in document production within the engineering discipline required; aviation experience preferred
  • Proficiency in discipline-based software (REVIT, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative work ethic
  • Solid working knowledge of engineering discipline
  • Ability to lead design drawing layout

Salary Range:

$40.00 - $46.00

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
