Job description

An outstanding, full-time opening has become available in the South Bend, IN area for a Structural Engineer with 5+ years of experience with a background in developing a wide array of traditional Structural and Industrial engineering projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and highly respected engineering organization that is involved in delivering complex, high-impact structural projects across multiple industries.


All candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration:


· Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (ABET-accredited or equivalent) is REQUIRED


· Engineer Intern (EI/EIT) certification is REQUIRED


· Proficient in structural analysis and design software such as RISA, RAM, ETABS, STAAD, etc.is REQUIRED


· Strong knowledge of U.S. building codes and structural standards such as IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI is REQUIRED


· Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or related field; PE licensed (or eligible for licensure in Indiana) is PREFERRED


· Skilled in Revit/CAD with experience managing structural projects from concept through design and construction is PREFERRED


· Field experience and strong collaboration skills with key stakeholders including architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams is PREFERRED
