We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at K&A Engineering in Binghamton, New York. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects that make a real impact in the energy and utility sectors. Role Expectations:
  • Grading and drainage design and review
  • Foundations design and review
  • Driveway and drive area design and review
  • Overall site plan and truck/trailer access, specific review of mobile access plans
  • Civil engineering lead and advisor for all projects and the capital program
  • Stormwater Management and Site Erosion Control Plan
  • Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure Plan (SPCC)
  • Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP)

What we're looking for:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology
  • 2-5+ years of engineering experience in Civil Engineering
  • Design experience using MicroStation, AutoCAD Civil 3D or related tools.
  • Expert knowledge of local, state, and federal building code requirements
  • Flexibility, creative problem-solving and above-average interpersonal/ communication/ collaboration (Team) skills are required
  • Must be able to work independently and able to meet quick turnaround timelines
  • Must be able to work a hybrid schedule

Pay Range: $90,000-$110,000/annually
