Job description

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
  • Civil Project Engineer for national and international heavylifting projects. 
  • Working at Mammoet Spain office in Daganzo (Madrid) travelling to the different projects, and execute them on Site.

Do you like variety?  The projects we execute are rarely the same, whether it is the task or the location, and will always place safety as the number one priority. As the Project Manager, we will look to you to deliver each project safely and successfully.  The potential is vast; the projects will be challenging, exciting, unique.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Test both your technical and your people skills
  • Oversee the critical planning, communications, decisions, management and actions connected to the project.
  • Responsible for all activity related to the contract, risk management, project preparation, project execution and project control.
  • As you demonstrate your ability, so there will be the opportunity to oversee projects of progressive scale and complexity.
  • Should you want, there will also be the opportunity handle international and even global projects, with durations ranging from days to years.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • Educated to degree level or above in Civil Engineering is essential.
  • Project preparation, quality, project structures, planning, risk management, contracts, costs & finance, practice interviews, project execution, leadership, teamwork & communication, conflicts & negotiations
  • English, fluent proficiency verbal and written
  • Evidence of experience in a similar role in Civil engineering.
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Prepared to work away from home on a project basis
