Licensed Civil Engineer - Site Work & Land Development Design
Position Overview:
The Licensed Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, and managing site development and land development projects, including grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater management systems. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and incorporates sustainable design practices to deliver efficient, environmentally responsible, and cost-effective solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial developments.Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare comprehensive site and land development plans, including grading, drainage, erosion control, and utility layouts.
  • Design stormwater management systems in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct site evaluations, feasibility studies, and environmental impact assessments for land development projects.
  • Develop construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates using AutoCAD Civil 3D and other CAD tools.
  • Integrate sustainable design practices, such as low-impact development (LID), green infrastructure, and water conservation strategies.
  • Coordinate with architects, surveyors, contractors, and regulatory agencies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with zoning codes, permitting requirements, and environmental standards.
  • Perform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations for stormwater systems.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Provide technical oversight during construction and resolve design-related issues.
  • Prepare and present reports and plans to clients and regulatory authorities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
