Job description

Klepper, Hahn & Hyatt (KHH) is seeking an experienced Licensed Civil Engineer (PE) to join our growing team in the areas of site development and stormwater management. This is a great opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across residential, commercial, and institutional sectors, including subdivisions, campuses, commercial developments, solar arrays, and green infrastructure.
What You'll Do
  • Prepare SWPPPs, including hydrology calculations and erosion & sediment control plans
  • Prepare construction plans and specifications, including the design of potable water and sanitary sewer facilities, stormwater infrastructure, land grading, driveways, sidewalks, etc.
  • Complete engineering studies and technical reports
  • Prepare SEQR documentation and assist with municipal permit applications
  • Provide office-based construction support, with occasional field visits

Requirements
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (or related field)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • Experience with CAD and hydrology software preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
