Civil Engineer - Project Manager

Delon Hampton & Associates, Chartered a minority-owned, professional consulting engineering services firm headquartered in Washington, DC, currently has an excellent opportunity for a talented and energetic, Civil Engineer/Project Manager.

A Site/Civil Engineering Project Manager will be the client's primary point of contact, will manage project staffing, workload and resource allocation for project tasks, project scheduling and financials. The Project Manager will serve as a mentor and provide direct supervision to the engineering design staff.โ€

SALARYย RANGE
$55 to $65 per hourโ€

Responsibilities:

  • Client relations;
  • Project management;
  • Design staff supervision;
  • Design staff mentoring and training;
  • Proposal and addendum writing;
  • Employee evaluations;
  • Liaison with senior management; and
  • Business Development (Primarily Client Retention).

โ€Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in civil engineering;
  • A Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Maryland or the ability to acquire within six months of hire;
  • Ten (10+) years of experience in the technical aspect of land development, civil engineering and construction management in Prince Georges County, Maryland;
  • Five (5+) years of experience in managing civil engineering design staff;
  • Excellent organizational skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication;
  • Entitlement work experience is a plus; and
  • Proficient use of AutoCAD and other industry design and Microsoft Office software.โ€

Working Conditions
This position is full-time in office. Supervisor will determine remote work days.โ€
