Position Summary:
As a Civil Engineer - Project Manager, you will lead multidisciplinary design teams delivering water and wastewater conveyance, pumping, and treatment projects. You will oversee technical execution, manage client relationships, and ensure successful delivery of complex municipal projects across Washington and Oregon. Typical work includes collection and conveyance systems, pump stations, storage tanks, treatment facilities, and rehabilitation projects.

Essential Job Functions:
The following duties are considered essential to the role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
    Act as the primary point of contact for municipal clients and manage projects of varying complexity.
    Interpret specifications and drawings, recommend design modifications, and coordinate with the design team.
    Lead and perform planning, studies, and design for municipal water/wastewater projects.
    Prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates, and permit applications.
    Evaluate alternatives, resolve technical issues, and coordinate with other disciplines.
    Lead and perform construction management services.
    Develop and maintain client relationships and participate in business development activities.
    Represent Tetra Tech in professional and community organizations.
    Ensure work is performed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with applicable standards.

Required Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
    Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in the municipal engineering market.
    Professional Engineer (PE) license in Washington and/or Oregon, or ability to obtain within six months.
    Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
    Proven success in managing complex projects and meeting client expectations.
    Experience developing proposals and delivering profitable projects.
    Strong communication and presentation skills.
    Demonstrated ability to plan, scope, and execute large-scale engineering projects.
    Knowledge of industry trends, strategic planning, and translating strategies into effective execution.

Preferred Qualifications:
    Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
    Experience in technical and business presentations.
    Demonstrated success in marketing and client account development.

Physical Requirements:
    Ability to perform fieldwork in varying conditions and on uneven terrain.
    Ability to walk, stand, and perform light to moderate physical activity, including occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
    Frequent use of engineering and field tools.
Work Environment / Environmental Factors:
    Combination of office and outdoor settings with variable weather exposure.
    Moderate noise levels and occasional work on uneven terrain.
    Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Additional Information:
    Full-time position based in Seattle, WA.
    Periodic travel (approximately 15% or more) may be required.

Compensation Range:
    Project Manager: $130,000 - $180,000, depending on portfolio and experience.
    Senior Project Manager: $160,000 - $200,000, depending on portfolio and experience.
