For over 23 years, LDC has delivered high-quality civil engineering solutions across the Pacific Northwest. As we continue to grow, we are seeking project managers who take ownership of their work, communicate effectively with clients, and contribute to successful project delivery.

Position Overview

You are responsible for managing the design and execution of residential and commercial development projects, overseeing project performance, coordinating technical staff, and serving as a primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.

You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget expectations are met. This role requires strong communication skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to lead project teams effectively.

Reports to: President or Senior Vice President, with day-to-day oversight from Principal Engineers


Key Responsibilities

Project Management and Delivery

  • Manage multiple civil engineering projects from design through construction
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate project delivery
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
  • Review and approve monthly invoices and support financial tracking
  • Identify and manage project risks, scope changes, and change orders
  • Support accounts receivable review and collections


Client and Business Development

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong relationships
  • Support business development efforts and identify opportunities for new work
  • Assist with preparation of proposals, SOQs, and contract review
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and project discussions


Technical Oversight

  • Oversee civil design efforts, including:
    • Site grading and roadway design
    • Stormwater conveyance and modeling
    • Water and sewer system design
    • TESC system design
  • Support land entitlement and site layout planning
  • Review plans, specifications, and engineer estimates for accuracy and quality


Skills and Specifications

  • Strong ability to manage projects, priorities, and deadlines

  • Washington State Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • Private development experience required; public project experience preferred

  • Valid Washington State drivers license
