KPFFโ€™s Washington Division Transportation Group is looking for an experienced Transportation Civil Engineeringย Primeย Project Manager to lead impactful projects and drive our team forward. This senior role includes the leadership and management of transportation projects across Washington, overseeing client relationships, business development, andย designย team management. You will work closely with local municipalities, and transit agencies, helping to drive KPFFโ€™s commitment to quality in regional infrastructure.โ€ฏThis role is designed for a proficient civil engineering professional who excels in both engineering and project management.โ€ฏย 

As a Project Manager at KPFF, you willย be responsible forย the full project lifecycle, fromย project pursuits and interviews, throughย initialย planning,ย executionย and closeout, ensuring projects meet client expectations, budget, and schedule requirements.โ€ฏAsย the Prime Projectย Manager,ย you will manage theย entireย design team consisting ofย trustedย subconsultant partners andย talentedย KPFF design staff.ย ย

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.ย 
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensed in Washington Stateย requiredย 
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil/transportation engineering, with a strong background in Washington project management.โ€ฏย 
  • Proficiencyย in AutoCAD Civil3Dย required;ย MicroStation, andย OpenRoadsย familiarity is a plus.ย 
  • Knowledge of codes, regulations, and standards applicable to the design and construction ofย transportationย projects in Washingtonโ€ฏย 
  • Permittingย experience with various municipalitiesโ€ฏย 
  • Ability to manage multiple active projects concurrentlyโ€ฏย 
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaborative skills are essentialโ€ฏย 
  • Competency, accountability, and personal commitment to deliver quality work to our clients, and to mentor younger staff

Additional Information

Physical Demands:

  • Duties are primarily conducted in a standard office setting, requiring prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or computer table.
  • Occasionally may be required to lift objects weighing up to 15 lbs.
  • Occasionally visiting project and construction sites may involve walking, standing, kneeling, or navigating uneven terrain.
  • Traveling to project sites or client meetings, which may involve driving or flying.

Compensation:

The base salary for this role is competitive and will be determined based on the candidate's experience, education, and skills. The expected annual salary for a qualified candidate is $130,000 - $200,000.
