Specializing in site development and lime & cement stabilization, we serve a wide variety of clients in the military, government, commercial and residential markets.
Our trusted partners include; Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Indian Head Naval Station, Architect of the Capitol, Maryland State Highway Administration, NAI Michael Company, Lincoln Properties Company, Herman Stewart, Toll Brothers, Inc. and NVR/Ryan Homes.
Job Description
  • Manage the GPS Department including GPS equipment inventories, purchases, etc.
  • Create and/or procure site models for use with GPS controls systems on project sites.
  • Project site setup including base station setup and localization of the area for use with GPS enabled heavy equipment.
  • Generate detailed earthwork, utility, and E&S control take-offs
    based on an accurate reading of blueprints, geotechnical reports,
    requests for proposals and related documents and transfer data into HCSS
    HeavyBid software for review with the team.
  • Correspond with clients, customers, engineers, subcontractors,
    suppliers and other entities as necessary to meet project requirements
    and fulfill role as GPS Coordinator.
  • Review bid package documentation, plans and proposal specifications
    to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate for RFP's,
    RFI's and subcontractor quotes.
  • Work within our Delmarva family as a valued member of the Management Team.

Qualifications
  • Experience with Trimble GPS Systems Including Machine Control
  • Proficiency with Trimble Business Center
  • Proficiency with Agtek Earthwork 4D
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Including Project
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task a variety of projects/tasks simultaneously.
  • Read and scale civil engineering plans.
  • Understand the importance of quality and accuracy.
  • Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in order to meet project deadlines.
  • Willing to work to meet project deadlines.
