Job Posting
This position is responsible for engineering work related to the investigation, location, and construction of municipal infrastructure projects. Work involves the application of engineering skills and knowledge to a variety of municipal engineering projects from conception through completion, including preparation of preliminary engineering reports and cost estimates, preparation of detailed plans and specifications, securing bids, construction supervision and preparation of assessment rolls. This position will function as a project manager with the following duties: supervision of project team, third party professional vendors and other needed services to accomplish the planning, design, and implementation of public improvement projects within limited time frames and in a cost-effective manner. The successful applicant may fill the position as either a Cvii Engineer I or Civil Engineer II based on their prior experience and technical certifications. The displayed salary is for a Civil Engineer II position.
