Job description

Our client is a leading consulting, engineering, and construction services firm seeking a Civil Engineer to join their expanding team. This role offers the opportunity to develop proficiency in civil engineering principles while supporting project teams on diverse infrastructure and development assignments. You will collaborate with project managers, team members, and clients to deliver high-quality design solutions across multiple project types.
Job Responsibilities -
- Work with project teams and clients to develop project documentation and proposal materials.
- Create and refine project deliverables such as site plans, technical reports, budget analyses, project timelines, regulatory permit applications, and feasibility assessment documents.
- Incorporate feedback from clients and regulatory agencies into plan revisions and design updates.
- Investigate zoning ordinances and regulations applicable to specific project sites and properties.
- Perform on-site evaluations and field inspections to assess site conditions and project feasibility.
- Review survey data and site information to evaluate development opportunities and constraints.
- Apply AutoCAD Civil 3D and complementary design software to produce accurate, professional engineering deliverables.
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, including clients, municipal officials, and regulatory bodies, as directed by project leadership.
Job Requirements -
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 2 - 8 years of professional civil engineering experience.
- EIT or PE required
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, site grading, technical writing, 3-D modeling, Microsoft Office, and
construction plan interpretation.
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to organize workload and manage multiple assignments effectively.
-Background taking a lead role in design components of development initiatives is preferred
