Make a Lasting Impact
A Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) provides both strategic and operational support to service center managers throughout the organization. We are looking for candidates who are:
Engineering Rockstars. A day in the life of a Sunrise civil engineer-in-training (EIT) is never the same as you work with a range of differing projects. Your attention to detail and proficiency in gathering accurate data will play a vital role in creating precise project plans and blueprints through field reconnaissance and base mapping. By conducting construction observations, your presence on-site will help to identify and address potential issues promptly, ensuring construction activities align with project specifications and safety standards. No one wants to do the same monotonous task every single day. As a Civil EIT, you will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks, including Grading Design, Drainage Design and Details, Water, Sewer Design, Geometric layouts of site, roadway improvements, as well as Water and Sewer and Drainage reports/analysis.
A solid, reliable coworker. Verbal and written communication skills for utility coordination and coordination management. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of utilities within projects, promoting efficient and effective utility systems. A good coworker is accountable, in this position you will take on responsibility and have a sense of ownership, specifically with completing SWPP Plans.
Certified and Experienced. For this role, we are looking for someone who knows their stuff. Having a 4 year degree in civil engineering, your E.I.T. certification, and Civil 3D/CAD experience will make you a very strong candidate.
