Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Civil Engineer (EIT) to join our growing civil team. This role works closely with a diverse team of engineers, designers, and specialists to deliver projects to a variety of clients.
Responsibilities
  • Be involved in Civil Engineering related project aspects including studies, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates. Projects may include planning, modeling, and design of facilities such as site plans, hydraulics and hydrology, drainage design, stormwater management, water and sewer utilities, roadway, and other miscellaneous civil design projects.
  • Ability to execute engineering best practices for civil engineering projects for a wide variety of clients, adapting to new environments quickly.
  • Assist senior staff in the production of project plans, specifications, scheduling, budgeting, technical memorandums and cost estimates.
  • Assist senior staff with construction management tasks such as material submittal reviews, responding to requests-for-information, conducting site visits, and coordination with contractors.
  • Conduct site visits, surveys and inspections, and assist with data collection, compilation and assessment for infrastructure projects.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, clients, and public agencies.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
  • 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in municipal, state, and land development engineering.
  • Active Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be flexible, organized, dependable, and accountable with a proactive approach to responsibilities.
  • Physically able to conduct on-site visits as needed.
  • Experience using computer assisted engineering and design software to prepare engineering and design documents (examples include software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS).

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
