Job description

The City of Warren is accepting applications for the position of Temporary Rental Code Enforcement Inspector. Employees in this perform skilled inspection of residential income property and enforcement of Chapter 9, Article VI, Division 9 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of warren titled "Building and Building Regulations".
Requirements:
โ€ข Two (2) years of experience in home inspection or code enforcement.
โ€ข General understanding and experience using computers and electronic reporting data.
โ€ข Possession of a valid license to operate a motor vehicle in the State of Michigan.
โ€ข Driving record must meet city's standards for insurability.
Pay rate: $27.00/hour
