Overview
Lumicera Health Services is seeking a Supervisor, Pharmacy Operations to join our team!
Under general direction of the Pharmacist in Charge and/or Staff Pharmacist(s), the person employed as a Supervisor, Pharmacy Operations is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a team of pharmacy technicians. This position monitors productivity and performance standards and plans and directs workflow and project assignments. Oversees production volume to ensure service standards are met. Conducts hiring, training, and evaluation of staff. Responsible for team's adherence to corporate attendance and employment policies. Works with the Pharmacist in Charge and Pharmacist Manager(s) to develop policies, procedures, and the business work plan for the team. Recognizes and recommends operational improvements. Helps to manage and maintain supplies and drug inventory.

Responsibilities
How do I make an impact on my team?
  • Schedules and monitors staff and day to day workflow. Develops employee's skills, evaluates performance, and provides feedback. Oversees resolution of employee relations. Conducts hiring, training, and evaluation of staff
  • Develop, track, and monitor employee's compliance to quality, service, and production standards
  • Monitor prescription turnaround time so that internal standards and client performance guarantees are met
  • Assist Pharmacist in Charge and Pharmacist Manager(s) in monitoring costs to ensure compliance with cost goals
  • Work in production as needed
  • Work as a point of escalation for issues requiring a higher degree of expertise or discretion to resolve. Represents pharmacy operations and service in cross-functional meeting and projects.
  • Assists with the set-up and maintenance of the inventory drug file.
  • Assists in addressing shipping exception issues and proper patient notification.
  • Organizes delivery of pharmacy supplies and maintains adequate stock of items needed for shipping and dispensing of product
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 2-5 years' experience, previous supervisory experience and experience in a pharmacy setting preferred
  • Certified Pharmacy Tech certificate (CPhT) required
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
