Non-Invasive Cardiologist
Citrus Cardiology Consultants | Inverness & Lecanto, Florida
Position Overview
Citrus Cardiology Consultants is seeking a full-time Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our growing physician-led cardiovascular practice serving Inverness, Lecanto, and the surrounding Central Florida region. This role includes a strong outpatient and inpatient consultative focus across affiliated HCA Florida Citrus and Tampa General Hospital facilities.
Key responsibilities/services include:
  • Echocardiography (TTE/TEE)
  • Nuclear cardiology
  • Cardiac CT imaging
  • Stress testing and cardiovascular diagnostics
  • Preventive cardiology and medication management
  • Inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular consultations

The incoming physician will work within a collaborative cardiovascular environment alongside interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, APPs, and dedicated support staff while helping support a growing high-volume imaging program.
Additional opportunities include:
  • Incorporating subspecialty imaging interests including cardiac CT/MRI
  • Teaching involvement with the ACGME-accredited Cardiology Fellowship Program in partnership with University of South Florida and HCA Healthcare

Shared call responsibilities provide strong physician support and work-life balance with a Mondayโ€“Friday schedule.
Compensation includes a competitive base salary, production bonuses, additional incentives, academic stipend opportunities, sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits package, and partnership/equity opportunities.

Qualifications
  • Board Certified / Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
  • Completion of accredited Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease training programs
  • MD or DO
  • Eligible for Florida medical licensure
  • Board Certification / Eligibility in Echocardiography and/or Nuclear Cardiology preferred
  • Experience or interest in cardiac CT/MRI is a plus
  • Open to experienced physicians and current fellows
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered care, teamwork, and quality outcomes
  • Eligible for H-1B and J1 physician waiver sponsorship
